This is also called dyspepsia and is caused by eating too quickly or eating under continual nervous tension. In fact, the reason that people eat rapidly is generally because they are nervous and under stress. Under these conditions the food is insufficiently chewed and broken clown in the mouth for normal processing by the stomach. Furthermore, the correct quantities of saliva and gastric juices are not secreted. This results in indigestion. Yoga is once more of great help. It makes one more relaxed and therefore more able to eat food slowly and with more enjoyment.

Of course, indigestion can also be caused by eating too much food, especially if the food is rich. Yoga will not help you directly to solve this problem. You must find your own solution.
